What is Cocaine?
Cocaine is a powerfully addictive stimulant drug. The powdered hydrochloride salt form of cocaine can be snorted or dissolved in water and then injected. Crack is the street name given to the form of cocaine that has been processed to make a rock crystal, which, when heated, produces vapors that are smoked. The term “crack” refers to the crackling sound produced by the rock as it is heated.
Three routes of administration are commonly used for cocaine: snorting, injecting, and smoking. Snorting is the process of inhaling cocaine powder through the nose, where it is absorbed into the bloodstream through the nasal tissues. Injecting is the use of a needle to insert the drug directly into the bloodstream. Smoking involves inhaling cocaine vapor or smoke into the lungs, where absorption into the bloodstream is as rapid as it is by injection.
All three methods of cocaine abuse can lead to addiction and other severe health problems, including increasing the risk of contracting HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases.

What is Residential Inpatient Treatment?
Solutions Recovery is committed to providing alcohol and drug treatment to substance dependent adults in a safe, secure and peaceful setting.
Clients participate in a minimum of 30 hours of therapeutic activity including individual counseling, group counseling, family counseling and 12-step meetings. This is in addition to the holistic services and amenities, which includes acupuncture, massage, and personal training.
During the treatment period, individuals live in a therapeutic community where their interactions are structured so that interpersonal skills are developed and enhanced. Clients learn such skills as taking care of themselves, helping others, getting along with others, effective communication and working through maladaptive behaviors in a supportive environment. In addition, clients are encouraged to be accountable for their actions by their peers and counselors.
Our Clinical staff at Solutions Recovery are caring, experienced and highly trained practitioners in their respective fields. Integrating a holistic approach, our multidisciplinary treatment team provides customized, intensive, and clinically managed treatment services.
Solutions Recovery homes are located within carefully selected, quiet, suburban neighborhoods. The homes are amply furnished to provide a comfortable and upscale living environment. Our residential treatment program is offered in the comfort of a residence rather than a more restrictive setting, such as a hospital.
What is Intensive Outpatient Treatment?
The Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Program is designed for the working professional who is committed to overcoming their chemical dependency in an outpatient setting.
The IOP Program includes an individual assessment, group therapy, individual therapy and discharge planning. Clients meet 3 times a week for 3 hours each session.
Family education, family therapy and multi-family therapy are integral components of the program so that the family may also receive counseling to overcome unresolved issues related to the individual and their substance abuse.
What is Detoxification Treatment?
The first step of drug detox is drug withdrawal. The definition of withdrawal is "Discontinuation of the use of an addictive substance, and the physiological and mental readjustment that accompanies such discontinuation." Once an individual has discontinued using drugs, physical and behavioral withdrawal symptoms may follow.
The nature and severity of the withdrawal symptoms vary greatly depending on the particular drug or drugs that were being used as well as the frequency of use.
Drug detox is a process that applies to any individual who is addicted to drugs.
The provider Solutions Recovery works with will simply prescribe medications to the individual to help with the physical withdrawal to alcohol and other drugs. As a licensed residential rehab and detox facility we will incorporate counseling and therapy during the detox to help with the psychological distress that the individual may experience as well. A high percentage of patients go through detox while in our program.
Here at Solutions Recovery do not provide the detox, we instead work with a contracted provider who provides the detox. More than three quarters of the individuals who come through our program do not have to be in the hospital. Rather, they are able to, under the safe care of a clinician, be separated from their drug that they are accustomed to using, with their medication safely locked away and self administered with observation at the prescribed time.
While the patient is in our care, they are closely monitored 24 hours a day, we provide transportation to their periodic follow-ups which the provider will monitor their dosages and adjust the titration schedules.
Solutions Recovery has been certified and licensed by the State of Nevada’s Department of Health and Human Services as a Facility for the treatment of abuse of alcohol and/or drugs.
Our facility has been licensed to provide up to nine residential program beds for the treatment of abuse of alcohol and drugs which includes social model detoxification services.

"Solutions Recovery saved my life. I am attending AA meetings and working on self. The friends I have in AA are very important to me. Solutions Recovery is a special place! I think about my stay there every day, and the things that I learned there. If I had not been there, and learned some of the tools needed to stay clean and sober, AA meetings would not have the meaning they have today.
I hope to go back to the Solutions to visit, and see some of the real true friends I made there. Keep up the great work you do!!
Thanks!"

"At first I was mad about being here. But I figured out I was really mad at myself for becoming an alcoholic. In time I realized it was the best place to be. I feel as though that it has helped me out with my recovery and has made me a better person. I advise anybody with an alcohol & drug problem to come to Solutions."
Chris, Las Vegas, NV
"My experience at Solutions the past 2 weeks have been overwhelming. I’ve seen anger, hate and love. We’ve bonded as a group and during our bonding, unfortunately, one of our housemates passed away; A rude awakening for some of us. I come away from the overall, convinced, that I will never use again. I will continue my process and move forward. A lot of good information has been supplied and a lot of stories have been supportive in out effort to remain clean."
