Residential AdmissionsWhat to Expect

If you or your loved one decides to use insurance, an admissions counselor is available to help you with that process. Prospective clients are assessed for appropriateness of treatment as well as appropriate level of care prior to admission. If the individual is accepting of treatment at our facilities, they are either admitted immediately to the appropriate level of care.

The assessment is completed by a Master’s prepared counselor. Every effort is made to respond to an individual’s needs.

Initial and ongoing assessments and evaluations provide a basis for formulating individualized treatment plans as well as identifying the need for any external services. Linkages with other community-based agencies are established and referrals to ancillary services are facilitated as needed.

Phone, Mail and Visitation

Phone Usage
After the first five days, one daily telephone pass may be approved through clinical staff provided that homework and chores are completed appropriately.

Phone Guidelines
Telephone use is supervised and phone calls are five minutes in length. Please note that these guidelines may be altered if a patient is participating in a detoxification protocol.

If a loved one wishes to contact a patient while the patient is in treatment, this is conducted via the Primary Clinician or the Patient Care Coordinator Manager.

Mail

Mail Guidelines
Letters to patients are encouraged, and opened under staff supervision to ensure the safety of the treatment environment.

Packages are allowed but must be received at the office and searched by staff prior to delivery to the patient, again to ensure the safety of the treatment environment.
