Partial Care Program

Intensive Outpatient ProgramWhat is a Partial Care Program?

The Solutions Recovery Partial Care Program provides structure for people who do not require the intensity of inpatient or residential level of care (RTC), but need more structure than outpatient or intensive outpatient treatment.

It is primarily used as a step down from inpatient or RTC, but may be used for patients who need more structure as a transition into IOP. The average length of stay is 2-3 weeks before stepping down to IOP. Partial Care/Day Treatment is a cost-effective alternative to inpatient and RTC and as a transition into IOP.

The program includes assessment, family therapy, group therapy and individual therapy. Programming is scheduled from 8am – 2:30pm Monday through Friday and Saturday from 10am-2:30pm. Patients are assisted by a multi-disciplinary team of addictionologists, alcohol and drug counselors, nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, social workers and other behavioral health care professionals that work together in evaluating the client’s treatment and his/her progress through all levels of care. The program is also available on an extended basis from 8am-8pm Monday through Friday and Saturday 10am to 2:30pm. Graduates from the day treatment/partial care program are eligible for up to two years of continuing care, free of charge.

Multi-Dimensional Therapeutic Approach

At Solutions Recovery we tailor our individual treatment programs to the client and his or her unique needs; we believe that each client deserves an individualized treatment approach in order to create the most effective treatment plan. Clients are assisted by a multi-disciplinary team of addictionologists, alcohol and drug counselors, physicians, psychiatrists, social workers and other professionals that work together in evaluating the client and his or her progress throughout the program.

Client Assessment

Each client will complete an assessment administered by a licensed, Master’s level clinician. The completed assessment will focus on addiction as well as cultural, employment, legal, medical, mental health and social needs. An individualized treatment plan is created with specific, measurable and realistic treatment goals. Treatment plans take into consideration the client's cultural and ethnic background, lifestyle, special needs, support systems as well as other pertinent factors.

Clients and staff continually work together to determine the needs and strengths of a client in order to develop a treatment plan designed to reduce or eliminate emotional, behavioral and situational obstacles to recovery. The treatment plan also aims to enhance the client’s skills and abilities to become a self-sufficient and productive member of society, and increase the client’s resources within the community. The client’s progress is regularly evaluated to determine if adjustments to the treatment plan are necessary or if modifications are needed for the continuing care/discharge plans.

Family and friends struggle alongside the individual with the addiction. Underlying issues of anger, codependency, guilt and resentment are often present within families of a chemically dependent individual. Individual family counseling and group family counseling can assist the family in receiving the treatment they need in order to establish a healthy dynamic.

Families and friends are encouraged to engage in therapeutic treatment alongside the individual. We believe that family counseling is an essential component not only for successful recovery but also for the family to settle unresolved issues related to the individual and his or her addiction.
