Erin Grissman - Administrative Assistant

Erin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Texas Tech University, and is also a registered Radiologic Technologist.

She is originally from Texas, and is fairly new to the Las Vegas area.

Whenever she is not at work, Erin can be found hiking about with her husband, experimenting in her kitchen, or rough-housing with her dog.

She is currently working toward certification as a project manager.

What brought you to work at Solutions Recovery?
My husband and I had just moved to Las Vegas, I was looking around for work and being pretty picky about where I applied.  After my interview, I knew Solutions was where I wanted to work!

What is your role at Solutions?
Executive Assistant

What was your most rewarding moment at Solutions?
It’s my 2nd week, so I don’t think I’m ready for this question yet.  Of course being hired was rewarding, but I know that’s not what this is about.

Where are you from?
Lubbock, TX

If you could go back to any time in history, what would it be?
Ancient Greece, I loved reading all the myths when I was younger.

What is the best part of your day?
I love my morning bike ride.  I get to pass a lot of farm/ranch property, so I always get a kick out of seeing the animals get going, though I could live without the peacock farm.

What is something you are terrible at, but continue to do?

Gardening. I have all these visions of how beautiful the plants will be before I manage to kill them all, so I keep trying.

If you were on death row, what would your last meal be?
Shrimp Scampi with Pasta and Turtle Cheesecake for dessert!

What was your first job?

I worked as a concessionist at the movie theater (Here’s a tip- pickle juice added to the popcorn kettle makes delicious popcorn!)

If your house was on fire, what one thing would you take with you?

My dog – assuming of course that my husband is able to make it out on his own.  He gets lost pretty easily.
