Chief Psychiatrist

Robert Lynn Horne MD is a graduate of Washington University School of Medicine. His internship was at Barnes Hospital in St Louis and his Residency and Fellowship were at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He has Board Certifications in Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Pain Management and Forensic Medicine.

He is a distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and been a Professor of Psychiatry at University of Nevada School of Medicine and is now Professor of Psychiatry at Roseman University College of Medicine. He has been recognized by the Consumer Research Council of America for 5 years as one of “America’s Top Psychiatrists” and by the National Consumer Advisory Board as one of “America’s Best Physicians” for Psychiatry and Pain Management.

He has been Principal Investigator for over 170 Trials of psychotropic medications for 30 Pharmaceutical Companies. He has served 2 Governors as Nevada Commissioner of Mental Health and been President of the Nevada Psychiatric Association. The Nevada State Medical Association elected him as Chief Delegate to the AMA House of Delegates.

Director of Patient Care

Kristin is from Minneapolis, and attended the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities where she received a Bachelor’s of Arts in English.

She received her Master’s of Science in Educational Counseling from the University of Phoenix. Kristin enjoys many outdoor activities such as hiking, tennis, camping and running, and likes to spend her free time traveling.

Debra Jentzsch

Behavioral Health Clinician

Debbi Jentzsch was a military brat and traveled all over. She has her AA and BS in psychology. She has also received her MS in Counseling, with a focus on marriage, family, and child therapy.

Debbi has her CADC-internship license, and she completed her internship right here at Solutions. She plans on getting her MFT-internship license as soon as possible.

Jane Schmidt

Behavioral Health Clinician

Ms. Schmidt received her Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology and Chemical Dependency Treatment from St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud, Minn. Ms. Schmidt is a licensed alcohol, drug and gambling counselor with the State of Nevada. With over 21 years experience in the clinical field, she has extensive experience providing psychotherapeutic services for inpatient and outpatient programs.

In addition to her responsibilities as a Recovery Therapist, Ms. Schmidt has volunteered at women’s shelters Ms. Schmidt loves animals and has adopted several dogs in recent years, two of which were severely abused. In addition to spending time with her dogs, her favorite pastimes include drawing, painting and sewing.

Charlene Sloan

Charlene received her Master’s Degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology from the University of Nevada and is also a certified counselor for pathological gambling. She was born and raised in Reno, NV and had a 20-year career in the U. S Army. Charlene has two sons and six grandchildren, and she spends as much time with them as possible. She came to this field because of her own life experiences and a desire to help others find peace and serenity in their lives.

Elizabeth Poma

Behavioral Health Clinician

Elizabeth graduated from Mt. Mercy College in 2007 with a BA in Criminal Justice. She started her career working in substance abuse that same year in Iowa City. She worked for MECA Services for 7 years, most of that time in residential as a counselor, but also doing outpatient groups, jail evaluations and running the halfway house program.

She got her MA in Social Work from the University of Iowa in 2014, and moved to Las Vegas because she was tired of the cold weather.
